Infestation Possible Soon

With the summer months coming, we just wanted to make you aware that insects appear more often than in the winter months. Just a reminder of what makes a vessel "infested": 2 Weevils; 1 weevil and 5 other live insects; or 10 other live insects. When loading wheat, it only takes 2 weevils; 1 weevil and 1 other live insect; or 2 other live insects. The procedures for fumigating containers is not uniform, it depends on the destination of the exported grain. If you have any concerns about fumigating do not hesitate to call the Davenport office.
